COVID-19 Guidelines
The Scottsdale Golf League takes the health and safety of it’s members very seriously. With the ongoing pandemic we appreciate the importance of taking the added precautions to protect everyone, but at the same time expect its members to exercise personal responsibility to ensure the health and safety of their fellow golfers. We are fortunate that the sport we are passionate about is played outdoors where natural social distancing occurs and the likelihood of spreading the virus is small. We would ask that you follow CDC guidelines, which seem to change daily. The SGL guidelines we ask you to follow include:
- If you test positive for COVID you will need to quarantine for 5 days or have no symptoms and 2 negative COVID test results 24 hours apart before playing in an event.
- If you have registered for an event and should become ill, please contact us and we will work with the course to ensure you do not get charged for the event.
- If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, please follow CDC guidelines and self quarantine. Do not play in an event until you are sure you are not contagious.
- If you have tested positive and been in close contact with other members, please contact them directly and make them aware of the situation. If you do not have their contact information, go to the golfgameskeeper website to send emails directly to fellow members. - Respect the course rules. When in an area where mandated, wear a mask.
- If you need your own cart, please send your request to pairings@TheSGL.org. We will work with the individual courses and will let you know if we will not be able to accommodate your request.
- We will not be able to provide refunds if you are not able to play. We will provide credit towards a future event.
Golf is a game of honor. We expect everyone to adhere to the same honor when you play in an event and take every precaution to protect the members of this league.
