SGL Membership Status and Handicap Policy 

Conditional Member: 

Dues paid for current season 

Has an SGL League Index 

Maintains an active GHIN Index with a minimum of 20 scores posted 

Conditional Members will play to the lower of their SGL League Indexes or GHIN Indexes. 

Conditional Members will remain in this status until: 

They have played in a minimum of 20 individual, stroke-play, SGL events within the previous 24 months AND 

They have played in a minimum of 15 individual, stroke-play, SGL events within the previous 12 months 

Upon completing these requirements, Conditional Members will become Full Members in Good Standing. 

Full Member in Good Standing:  

Dues paid for current season 

Has an SGL League Index 

Has played in a minimum of 15 individual, stroke-play, SGL events within the previous 12 months 

Maintaining an active GHIN Index is encouraged. 

Full Members will play to their SGL League Indexes. 

Legacy Member with Conditional Status: 

Dues paid for current season 

Had been a Full Member in Good Standing at some point in the past 

Has played in fewer than 15 individual, stroke-play, SGL events within the past 12 months 

Maintains an active GHIN Index with a minimum of 20 scores posted 

Legacy Members will play to the lower of their SGL League Indexes or Current GHIN Indexes until they have played in 15 individual, stroke-play, SGL events within a 12-month period at which time they will become Full Members in Good Standing.
